I have a property about 1,000 miles away from me within an LLC that I would like to take equity out of to buy another property. I went to a local credit union and they said they offer this service, but only a few states that are near me. Should I contact credit unions closer to the property or should I continue with the ones in my area that I can physically visit?

Thanks!

I appreciate it Ed!  It looked like an acceptable method to use and it's good to know others have had success.  That helps a lot.

has anyone had success claiming a home office deduction in an s corp?  I have only a couple of properties generating income and I think I can offset most of my income if I do it properly.
