@Nick Pawlowski thanks everyone I found a few in a great neighborhood. The backyard goes right down into a creek and I’d like to attract nice families and not sure if that’s a deal breaker with no backyard.

What types of homes does everyone typically try to avoid when buying and renting? Homes with only 2 beds? On a main road? No backyard? Are there layouts or other characteristics to avoid that you’ve seen don’t do well?

@Brian Walters I'm just starting out but I read that you can't own rentals under an LLC? Am I missing something?

What books has everyone read that they found most beneficial? So far I’ve read Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat by David Greene and Brandon Turners The Book on Rental Property Investing. I am halfway through John Schaub’s Building Wealth One House at a Time and am not all that impressed.

@Anthony Gayden

Hi Anthony thanks for your response, I read your bio and you have an inspiring story. I like my job but I realized that there is much more to life then working 40+ hours a week for 30 years and retiring and hopefully trying to finally live life at age 65. In my field I see people with illnesses that end their life sooner than anticipated and I want to live life now! Especially with covid, my fiancé works from home spends time with our dog, etc. and I would love to spend more time with family and friends, travel and just be in a better spot with passive income and multiple retirement income sources. My first goal is to pay off debts and plan on selling my car and getting a cheaper one. I've read many different strategies, BRRRR with all cash, put 20% down and slowly buy more properties. I just want to have a future plan to know my savings goal. I'd like to know what other investors have done and the strategy they used.
