Post: Creating master a mind group

Hi everyone.

I have 0 deals but I was interested in starting a mastermind group. I am currently saving up, reading 9 books (all biggerpocket books), signing up for credit cards every 3 months (goal is to hit around 60k line of credit) and building my credit (my goal is 800 but I am at 729). I want to start a mastermind group but I have zero experience. Should I start one or am I a little to ahead on schedule?

Cheers!

@Elenis Camargo

What books helped you prepare and how much money did you save before diving in?

@Elenis Camargo

Your story is very inspiring. I am in the process of saving up, reading (estimating rehab costs, rental property investing and the long distance investing). I think it is best to save and gain as much knowledge as I can. One day I will hit it in the millions and living my dream life.

Hey Michael,

I'm also in the same mind frame as you. Trying to find a CPA.

What I ended up doing was just a google search for : Real Estate CPA in (insert city)

I set up a couple of meetings with some of the individuals from Milwaukee and I plan on asking them all the questions I can.

I'm not saying that the other suggestions are bad, me personally I would feel safer if they were in my home town and new the correct information.

You can also check out one of the Podcasts with Amanda Han

Hope this helps.

 Thanks for posting this podcast.  I will check it out later.

2. Investor-Friendly GC: This is the person who can do a basic pre-offer inspection and can help you ballpark the renovation costs, assuming you'll be buying a "fixer upper."

If you have those two people in place, you should be ready to start making offers. Once you have an accepted offer, then you'll want to a few more people involved -- property inspector, closing/title agent, insurance agent, and perhaps an appraiser.

 What does investor friendly GC stand for?
