@Ramona Huot

Coming from a college student who rented an older house with 10 others... don’t skimp on the toilet. Cheap ones clog a lot and it’s not pretty (especially if you have 10 college guys in the house). Will save you future headaches woth plumbers and what not. My father has been a contractor his entire life and I have always helped him out. American standard, Kohler, and check out TOTO. These seem to be the most popular. Best of luck!!

Ps. Never rent to college guys

Hello,

I am currently a college student but want to get started in real estate. I have spent the past couple of years reading a lot of books and listening to a lot of podcasts. As of right now, I do not have that much capital to start investing in properties and I found wholesaling might be a great way for me to get into the real estate game for now. I am trying to learn more about wholesaling as of now but I was wondering if anyone could share with me any tips for getting started. I would be looking to get started in northern NJ, where I live. I also have a few thousand dollars to invest in things like marketing. I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction and possibly provide ur favorite ways to find motivated sellers as well as potential investors. Cold calling ? Driving for dollars? Other? Any advice at all is definitely appreciated!!!
