3/2 with a garage rent really well in San Antonio. If you provide a nice clean rental at a fair price you should get several good applicants. I have had great tenants that were military and great tenants that were not military...If you make sure to screen ALL your tenants well, you should do great with some rentals in San Antonio.

Hey @Joel Schiffer -- I think having and agent list your property on the MLS is the easiest way to find a tenant but if you don't want to pay an agent you still have other choices:

-Put a "For Rent" sign in the yard and some on the entrances to the neighborhood -- people who live in that neighborhood or are visiting people who live in that neighborhood will see it and either want to live by their friends/family or call their friends/family because they want them to live close to them.

-Craigslist (this can be good and bad)

-You can also list on places like Zillow

As long as you have a nice house and you don't overprice it for the neighborhood, you should be fine. Good Luck!
