@Chris Seveney I see, I'll definitely look into partnerships. I have about a year and a half credit history with a 680 score, which I'm guessing is way too low. I don't want to rush into anything and make a bad decision, thank you for the advice.

@Jimmy Lieu Thanks Jimmy. I've had the idea of finding a partner, but I don't know how I'd bring value to the table. Maybe by finding great deals and getting a solid team together? Thanks again.

@Stephanie Medellin Thanks Stephanie! That's a lot of great information. I've been working on my credit for about a year now but it's a slow process. I appreciate the advice.

@Sam McCormack Thank you! I'm also becoming an agent, my salesperson exam is this Monday.

@Chris Seveney Thank you for the advice, I haven't considered partnering with someone with more established credit

@Marc Walowitz Hey Marc, I've been looking into Columbus Ohio

Greetings BiggerPockets! I'm a young investor (19) passionate about building wealth through real estate. I've been absorbing everything I can about the BRRRR method and have selected a market where I see significant potential. My current challenge is financing. I'm seeking guidance on finding lenders who specialize in asset-based lending, given my limited credit history and the need to finance a distressed property. I'm really looking to connect with experienced investors who've navigated similar situations. Any advice on building relationships with lenders and strategies for overcoming these initial hurdles would be greatly appreciated. I'm excited to learn and grow within this community!
