Thank you everyone for replying with good advice and tips! Talking with local real estate investors is definitely on something the top of my list. I will continue to do my research and save up enough money for a good down payment on my first property. Also, would it be a good idea to get an RE license in the next year or two? @Keegan Lunsford @James E. @Aaron Hunt @Courtney Fricke

I am 19 year old college student living in Louisiana who has had an interest in real estate investing. I have currently been doing my research for weeks now. This includes BP podcasts several books and looking through forms. I would like to start investing in rent houses as soon as possible. Any tips/advice on how to really get started, being that I am so young without any real experience?
