Thank you all BP friends, really great feedback.  @Philip Robbins drop me a personal note I would like to get in touch and hear about your Cambridge experience some more and talk about the Toronto areas housing market.

@Philip Robbins Thanks for the feedback, yeah I will budget for a PM.  I'm looking into Barrie as they have a housing shortage and need for rental properties.  Its closer than 2 hours but traffic pending can be a real haul heading up that highway 400 with cottage traffic.

I am noticing a lot of people from my job that are moving up there and being quite okay with the commute.  I also like that it has rail access and a sizable college.

@Jon Kepler I do not know much about Owen Sound, send me a personal message to discuss further.  I passed by last year for a weekend trip to the now super popular Bruce Peninsula, which was awesome.

Hello BP friends.  I would love your insight on buying a rental, single family house about 200 km away from where I live?  I should note this would be my first property so I want to manage it myself and get the positive exposure from the tenant search to fixing things etc etc.  The reason that the property would be 200 km away from where I live is because I live downtown Toronto where even parking spaces sell for 65000k so investing near me is not viable.  I am hoping to hear some good pros and cons that cut right to truth of the matter.  Thank you kindly.

Thank you everyone for getting back over the weekend.  @SarahLarbi I should of elaborated more.  I was curious if the courses and training were worth it.  I am getting a good vibe from what I heard in the presentation and the feed back from my BP friends.

@chadurbshott and @michaelramzy  Thank you kindly for the feedback.  I'm going to sign up.

I am looking for some feedback on Rockstar Real estate in Toronto Canada. They are a brokerage that focusses on selling turn key properties that require little to no rehab. They offer classes and contact resources for a monthly fee. Anyone hear anything??
