@BrianGibbons

While I don't want to seem too starry eyed and bushy tailed, I must acknowledge Brian Gibbons for what he does. In a matter of an hour-and-a-half long conversation he was able to bring new ideas to me and give me a view of real estate that is fit to my expectations of what this business should be. I just, last month, spent $320/hour to talk to a local real estate attorney that was 10% as helpful as Brian Gibbons, what did Brian charge? Nothing. A conversation that was scheduled for 30 min turned into a well rounded intelligent conversation on Lease Option, Wholesaling, Subject-to , Jim Rohn, and being a "Transaction Engineer".  Brian's view on real estate is to be readily equipped to deal with a single property in a multitude of ways, present the options to the owner, and allow them to choose. While this may not be a groundbreaking idea, it is a valuable asset, and a wonderful way to approach an owner who feels, already, trapped. Throughout the call, my only impression of Brian was that of sincerity and knowledge, he had recommendations out the Wazoo and a honest to god want for you to grasp what he was talking about so that you could grow from the conversation you were immersed in. It is rare to find someone who truly cares for the people they talk to, sure, you could say the end goal was to get me to purchase his coaching. But, by the time the call was 45 minutes in, it was clear I was not able to act on his proposed offer for coaching, he didn't come up with a lame excuse to hang up nor did he stop being helpful. The most memorable part is how he became even more resourceful and gave me things to look at, to learn from, and use to build my business. I have worked in customer service, I have seen great customer service reps that are terrible people and vice-versa; Brian seems to be the type of guy that is meant to help other people, more importantly this is not only his approach to his coaching but also, the way he approaches his real estate business and while I cannot confirm this, I would say his everyday life. His coaching is reasonably priced, ESPECIALLY in comparison to the other options available which range from $15,000 and up ($25,000 for a year was the most recent one I saw). If you need any more information, or recommendations, search BiggerPockets for "Brian Gibbons", I have not seen a bad word spoken about this man.

Conclusion: As far as I am concerned, the moment I am able, I will become his student.

Hello Karl! I would like to talk too. I sent you my contact info :-)

Also, Hi Steve! I think you may have swapped Karl and my location, I am from Illinois. I would like to start wholesaling, then rehabbing, then buy and hold. This would be in residential real estate, and I plan to build my rental portfolio during the next down cycle. I guess I'd like to know what else you would like to know, what in specific are you looking for? My end goal is passive income through an automated business, what Tim Ferris calls a Muse.

Hello everyone,

My name is Nick and I am currently starting my wholesaling business, I have my contracts written up, my LLC filing soon to be approved, and my automated marketing system being built. I have read a lot but, done very little up until this point. I hit my rock bottom, I am not going back, I am young, and this is the time for action. I want a mentor, someone who will hold me accountable, I am DEFINITELY not asking to be dragged, you won't have to. I will do this with or without someone mentoring me but, I value having someone who is ahead of me by a few years telling me what has worked for them. I don't care if you are a man or a woman, what your race is or any of that, all I care about is that you have experience doing what I am trying to do, and that you would feel great pride in helping a young man fulfill his dreams at an early age. I don't expect things to happen over night, however, no one hates results either, do they? haha. Give me a chance, help me, and you will have me to help you run your business for a couple hours a week or read a bedtime story to your pet Maltese over the phone, heck, I'll learn sign language if necessary, the point is, I don't expect something for nothing. And although it may go without saying, when I am up and running I fully intend to make you money as well. Mutually aligned interests. If you have questions for me or want to make sure we are a good fit, Great! Message me or reply here. I know I am not everyone's cup of tea and that's part of life but, if you think you can help me drop me a line. Also, I mean no offense if I ask to see a website or something, I just want to know you are in the business.

Thanks

-Nicholas

P.S. - To give you an idea of my personality, I think the best answer lies in the books I love to read. Here are some of the more personally formative books I have read.

- Awaken the Giant Within - Tony Robbins

- Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki

- Think and Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill

- The War of Art - Stephen Pressfield

- How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie

- The Four Hour WorkWeek - Timothy Ferris

Role Models:

Clint Atkins (Local Investor), Tim Ferris, Arnold Shwarzenegger (yes... really haha, he was a millionaire before his film career), Sir Richard Branson, Warren - well who else, James Clear, and anyone who was able to overcome circumstance ethically and help others as best as they can.
