Good morning everyone!

I have my first property under contract in Denver, CO and am looking for an investor or suggestions/contacts that may be able to help secure funding to fix and flip. The house in under contract for 200k. It needs quite a bit of work (around 75k-95k) to restore it to a desirable property. The house is under contract for 200k even and the ARV based on comps is around 395k-415k. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this will be our first fix and flip. Thanks!

I'm fortunate I have a large amount of contacts to help with renovations since I'm already in the building industry (sales manager for Portland Glass). I have seen some good fix and flip opportunities in the Dover area. I also think there's some good potential further inland out in the Londonderry/Derry area. I may be leaning more toward rental units though because that's the trend I've seen. Seems like the kids our age aren't buying and in NH there aren't that many rental units available. Either way, I'm ready to get my feet wet as soon as I find the right deal.

Thanks for the reply, Jonathan! How's the market out in Dover? I know the Portsmouth area is quite expensive. I'm in and out of Dover pretty frequently.

Hey everyone! I I'm new to real estate investing and have only been studying the topic for a couple months now. I just read Brandon Turner's book on investing in Real Estate with no (and low) money down, and also Rich Dad Poor Dad. I'm planning to purchase my first multi family property within the next few months and I wanted to introduce myself to the forum. The podcasts have been so helpful and convenient as Im often driving through upper New England for my current job. I'm 27 years old, married, and planning to start having kids within the next year or two. There's no better time than now to start paving my way toward financial independence! Any tips as I start this new endeavor are greatly appreciated! I'm located in southern NH so if anyone wants to grab a coffee and chat REI sign me up! Teddy Shonts
