No, I own the house free and clear according to the books.  I had an outstanding cost of $30k that I rolled into a cash refinance on our primary residence.  Because the interest rates were so low, I was able to keep the same mortgage payment cost we had before but for both houses with a shorter term!  Now I am considering whether to do a cash refi on the free and clear, and use a Heloc to purchase another duplex that is more expensive.

Hey, how is your investment in Maryland

Hi Ben! I'm actually under contract for a 4-unit property in Cumberland and looking at a potential 9-unit one in need of rehab. What spots were you looking?

How has your experience been like?

Taxes

I'm flipping a house, hoping to sell it and buy a triplex for rental purpose. Is there a way to avoid capital gain taxes. Im thinking of pushing my 2024 tax deduction to 2025 as a way to reduce it a bit.

Hello BP community,

I'm closing on a property in Downtown Cumberland Maryland. Light renovation needed, 3 bed 1.5 bath. I came across some reddit post on the city and how tenant friendly it is, plus population decline. Apart of me wants to sell. My total cost is 40k, can resell at around $130. What would you do in my shoes

Hello Mr. Meyers,

I never considered getting a house close to school or hospitals. Thinking about it, I can see it bringing in profits. Thank you so much for the idea.

Thank you so much Mr. Ramirez for going into details. Without a doubt having control of your assest is a big win compared to little control. Thanks

Hello BP community,

Recently, I have been debating if to invest in a multifamily house or condos in San Diego and what areas are best to buy in

Initially, I was looking into  multi family house but from my observation it seems that most people in San Diego tend to prefer condos in downtown San Diego.
