What would you consider a reasonable price for plowing and salting a 24 space parking lot on the outskirts of KC (Kansas side, Leavenworth County)?

Hi, I’m wondering about what I should expect to pay to replace a 750sf flat roof in North Park.  It’s a 2 story duplex.  Also, if anyone has any roofers they’d recommend?  Thanks!

I need to replace the kitchen flooring in a condo due to a water leak.  Most of the unit has a reddish brown/auburn style wood appearance flooring (that I wouldn't be able to match exactly), so I'm wondering what to go with to replace the kitchen flooring?  I was initially thinking one of the light gray vinyl plank choices, but wondering if that would clash with the existing flooring at the transition (by the breakfast bar in the photos) Any advice would be appreciated!

Yeah, I remember watching that movie, I found it terrifying. It'd sure be nice if the media would occasionally highlight stories like this, instead of the sob stories of the single mother with 5 kids (and a brand new flatscreen, etc) being evicted by the cruel landlord after 6 months of nonpayment.

I follow the financial independence forums on Reddit, and just happened to come across this one post describing one parasite's brilliant idea for how to get free housing.  Depressing to think this is the world we live in.

Hey, can anyone recommend someone for basic lawn and yard care in Springfield, Missouri?  The lawn's looking a little shaggy...

@Thomas Meyer  I would like to do a more cost effective solution like that next time I have a vacancy, but these people were so determined I'm not sure if that would be adequate.

@KJ

@KJ L.  They are, thankfully.  As far as I know they haven't come back since that video, and the new tenants have been in the home for a couple weeks now.  Hopefully they are gone for good.  I agree, the police should have arrested her, but they just gave her a warning. Not going to get all rant-y, but I'm sure this has something to do with the current political climate vis-à-vis the police being overly cautious, activist groups, etc.

Hi KJ, I thought about that, but I think they were picking the lock.  I found a bag of locks inside the house as well as a Home Depot receipt for a deadbolt.  I showed that to the police but they didn’t really seem to care.
