I’ve been having trouble getting people to apply to an apartment I’ve been trying to renting out. I’ve had 10 showings, half of which said they really like the apartment, but only one is even in the process of filling out the application which they’ve stalled on for a week now (using cozy). Advice for closing?

How far west are you looking? If you have sub par tenants then you’ll have to figure in higher costs such as longer periods of vacancy and possibly the headaches involved

Hi all,

My name is Nelson and I’m trying to get in the loop in Chicago.

I’m moving from New York for a job as a software engineer/data scientist and was hoping to start investing in a buy and hold property (I know the Multi-Family market is a bit hot at the moment, so I’m just looking for anything that cashflows) .

I’m eyeballing the neighborhoods along the Blue Line but would greatly appreciate any advice or information about events.
