@John Menton, @Rob D., @Steven Burke

Hi John, Rob, Steven - who have you been using for your CPA?  I am in MA and looking for one. Would you mind sharing your contacts?  Thank you!

Hello everyone!

I am planning on privately lending money for a period of 10-years.
What is the best Loan servicing company/agency/website to use - with minimal overhead?

Ideally, I want to use a service where a buyer can easily make payments online, review statement, balance, etc.  Not looking for anything fancy (least cost on my end).

Thank you!

Quote from @Lien Vuong:

Local expertise is not really necessary, my person is based out of state. Make sure they are a CPA and have an Enrolled Agent on staff that understands cost segs, 1031x, and depreciation on your assets. What you frankly likely need is a tax consultant rather than just a preparer.

 Thanks Lien!
Would you mind sharing tap preparer's contact info? DM is fine as well.

Hello everyone!

I am looking for an experienced real-estate focused CPA/EA to help maximize my returns.
I work full time (W2 income), stocks/RSU, and have several real-estate properties. I sold 2 properties this year so I really need someone who can help minimize my taxes.

My preference is MA-based CPA (near Billerica/Boston) so I can meet in person.

Any suggestions or referrals would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks everyone!

Hi all - here is an update.  there is no option/button to formally decline the loan on the SBA EIDL portal.  I spoke to SBA and they asked me to ignore the request, it will "go away" in 30-days. He also notated my account for SBA documentation purposes.

Thanks everyone for comments.

@Natalie Kolodij - I am not planning to take EIDL loan.  Am I obligated to take the loan?  Should I reply and formally "decline" or just ignore the email and leave it at that.

Hello BP,

I got message from EIDL today stating: "Your SBA Application No. *** is ready for the next step. Create your SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Portal account to provide additional details or requested documents."

I got $1000 grant a few weeks ago. I am not planning on applying for an actual EIDL LOAN any longer (I received needed funds through other means). I am sure I am not the only one in this boat. did anyone else get this email. are you ignoring it? I don't want or need any more of EIDL money, and I certainly have wasted enough time with this kind of paperwork...

Wondering on how I should handle this.

Any feedback/experience with this is appreciated.

Thanks

@Deisy P.

Hi Deisy - Who was the email from and what was the subject line? I want to keep an eye out.

@C. Scott Forrest I actually got through after over an hour. The rep I spoke to said that last night they received communication that stated as of this AM they are starting to send out an email that says something like "Create you SBA Rapid Release Account". After following the prompts you will be able to see the current status of your (up to) $10k advance. There will be a second, seperate email addressing the loan of up to 2 months working capital with a max of up to $15k. They will have the terms and conditions of the loan in the email. From what I understood the advance is an advance on whatever this loan amount will be. The representative said he wasn't able to check the status on my loan. I have to wait to receive this email. He also said they didn't tell him how long it will take to get all of these emails out the the current applicants. This info is in regards to the EIDL loan.

@Jennifer Perich

What phone number did you use/dial to get to reps? Thanks
