I am a pretty green investor. I started with my first rental property in 2006. Since then I have purchased 14 "doors" in my local area. This year I purchased my first SFR flip which I am under contract on to sell this month. I am neck deep on the rehab of the second one and am under contract to purchase the third one.

I learned about the PB forum through the podcast. I have enjoyed the podcast so much I thought I would check out the forum. Admittedly, I am completely overwhelmed by the forum which makes me want to sit back and do nothing. Fighting that urge, I have decided to just jump in and figure out things as I get more involved.  I am looking forward to making connections, growing my network and growing my real estate "empire" (I use that term very loosely and there is LOTS of room for growth)!

My real estate goal is to replace my w-2 income with passive income by 2020.  My immediate goal is to find an amazing wholesaler in Bryan/College Station that can turn up deals to help feed my flipping project.  Assuming I hit my profitability goals on my three flip projects this year, I hope to double the deals next year.

Congratulations Matt!  I cannot wait to hear about your investing adventures!  Physical pain is much more tolerable when you are younger.  Financial pain is no different!  The lessons will hurt much less and will be easier to recover from at a younger age. Do not spend too much time reading and "learning" and let your youth pass. Get out there and get your feet wet. Fail small and learn by experience and your future will be paved with great success!
