Post: Getting stains out of sandstone

I'm looking for how to get stains out of a sandstone fireplace. It looks like either oil or carbon staining. The is also a large area of wax. I have tried some stone cleaner but they did not even touch the stain. Anyone have an idea?

You need to remove the paint. Otherwise over time it could loosen and the tile will pop off. A good sharp scraper should get it off.

$2000 is a lot to pay for a training course. I would check around and see who ese is offering the some training and for how much.

The reason you "Puck" yourself all over the internet is to increase your position on the search engines. If you have not sat down and thoughout what keywords are import for your sit, all the exposure will not help you much.

Example: I want to be at the number 1 position on google for the keywords "Cape Girardeau Real Estate". So if a buyer/seller type in "Cape Girardeau Real Estate into Google, my site will pop up first. To do this I make sure links to my are titled "Cape Girardeau Real Estate". I place wording on my site that includes cape girardeau real estate. Blog, forum post, etc would also have that sorting included.

The question for you is "When potentail clients are looking for someone in your business, what do they type into Google"

I use efax alot. The main advantage over using a compuer is that you do not tie up a line sending or receiving a fax.

The market on the SE side of the state is a little slow than normal. We are better the the metro missouri areas. Homes are still selling but are taking maybe a month or 2 longer. August was a good month, Sept so far has been so-so. We have not seen a big down turn in the prices yet, and I don't real expect to see one.

Thanks for the welcome. My first post was a little generic. I try to start out slowly in a forum until I get a good understanding of the flavor of the site and the site policies. I don't want to come off as I'm here only to promote myself. (That not why I'm here). But I do like to talk about my business.

My wife and I own and run a website that provides real estate advertising and photo services to realtors. We are also thinking about investing in real estate at some point.

A little about the business. We are contacted by the real estate agent shortly after they receive the contract. Working with the agents we will determine the best exposure for the listing. Most listing we will take full inside and outside photos of the property. Normally we are one of the very first people to see the listing once it is for sale. After the photos are taken, they are processed and placed on the website for advertising to the public. The agent may also use the photos for thier advertising. The site is doing well; it is the leading real estate site in southeast Missouri. (google Cape Girardea real estate)

In the course of the business we visit hundreds of properties. And we do come across properties that we think are good canidates for flipping. Homes for sale with low prices and the right thing wrong. We also come across some apartments complex and business properties that are some what interesting. While we understand the marketing and pricing side of real estate, the investing side is less familar. Before we make that jump I want a lot more information. That is were this site come it. Hopfully I will be able to learn about the investing side and help others with the marketing side.

A little of personeel info. I have an MBA from Washington Unversity and a BS in engineer from University of Missouri - Rolla. My wife has 15yr of experience in graphic arts.

Hello everyone, I found this forum on Google. I though it looked interesting so I'm going to try it out.

I own an advertising real estate website is Southeast Missouri. So I am alway on the lookout for new ways of marketing. I hope this site can provide some interesting new ideas on real estate and maybe improve my business. Along the way, I hope I can help out others with some of my own ideas.
