been analyzing a house and want some opinions on adding a master suite to a 2/1. The house is 1427 sq ft for sale by owner at $203k, renovated 3/2s in the neighborhood are averaging $230 a sq ft so adding a 365sq ft master suite would bring the ARV to $410k. From those with experience adding a master suite of this size, what was your cost?

Hey everybody, I am Neal Kay from Katy, TX suburb on the west side of Houston. I currently own my own business that I will be most likely selling around the end of 2017 and looking for what to do next and real estate has always interested me. 3 years ago I bought my current home as a foreclosure, had it fixed up, and am now sitting on some pretty equity in it and enjoyed the process. Would love to learn about buy and hold rental properties and flipping. I love doing research and am detail oriented so I think being involved in this would be something I would really enjoy doing while making a living. One of my biggest weaknesses will be that I am not a great networker (introverted personality) but I am a great presenter, so when there is a purpose I am on. Looking forward to learning more on the forums and making some connections with people doing this in the Houston area to learn from!
