Hi Everyone, I am hoping someone can help clarify some info for me. I opened up an LLC to help manage my rental properties, however I "house hacked" them and therefore the mortgages are under my name, not the company's. Would there be any advantage to managing the transactions (expenses, rent, etc.) from the LLC's business account? I have a separate personal account for them now, but I am also wondering if the houses would have to be under the business name when it comes to taxes and all. Thanks in advance!

Hi All,

I am interested in purchasing a small (up to 100K) condo and us it as my first rental. I currently reside in Laurel, MD but i've looked at Severn, MD and Hyattsville, MD as possible locations. Is there anyone that could help me acquire some additional information? I would like to possibly run some numbers as well and make sure it's something I can afford since I only make about 30k a year. Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Naudy
