@Mark Ainley thank you for the advice. I do hvac and am definitely willing to provide services to people who are willing to help. I greatly value people’s time, and understand knowledge doesn’t always come for free. I believe in you get what you give, and that is how you build strong relationships.

Looking for a real estate mentor. I’m 23 have a small pocket of funds and want to start investing in rental property. Looking to use the brrr strategy along with house hacking as I still live with my parents and would like to live on my own someday. Interested in trying to find a duplex ideally a four flat if I could find the right deal and acquire the funds.

Having a mentor to show me the ropes and bounce deals off of would allow me to greatly help build my confidence for my first deal.

Ideally investing within a 20 mile radius of Elgin, IL would be best, but wherever the market is I’m not against going there I just would like to succeed and not fall on my face.

Thanks!
