Join us for a workshop on partnering and mentorships! We are honored to introduce Dakota Worrell as our speaker for January. Dakota will be talking to us about how to successfully work with partners and mentors in real estate.

We are so excited to have Dakota speak with us. He has been a big influence on my investing career and we are so grateful for the chance to learn from him. Here is brief introduction of who this superstar is: Dakota Worrell is an established Multi-Family real estate investor. Since founding DW Investors, LLC in 2015 with only $419, he's remodeled over 150 units himself and currently owns 103+ highly performing apartments. A master of seller financing, Dakota became a millionaire at the age of 21, and now enjoys teaching and mentoring new investors through DW Education. www.dw-education.com

Hey @Daniel F. congrats on your first property boss! Good work! I would take a look at leveraging a bit more. That would depend on your strategy and what you are comfortable but I'd say if you did a HELOC or took our a mortgage on your property you could use that money to put a down payment on another property and grow your portfolio a bit faster. I'd do the minor reno and get into some more solid properties so that your tenants can pay the equity instead of leaving all your equity tied up in it. Either way, good work and good luck!

Hey @Jay McAllister! I think @Tommy Adeoye is right on with his advice! I think this is a question for your accountant to help you weigh your taxes consequences and then, equipped with that information, take a look at your long term strategy and make sure whatever choice you make is pushing you toward your end goal. Don't rule out creative financing options as well (Seller financing, lease option, etc.) Great problem to have though my friend! Congrats and good luck!
