Anyone care to share handyman recommendations for the Logan Square / Irving Park area?

I am always on the look for someone who can do a variety of jobs that pop up from time to time: replacing doors, snaking drains, swapping light fixtures, etc. Are there any resources or best practices when looking to procure such services? Thanks!

Hi BP Chicago - I would like to have a garage built in the backyard of my Bronzeville SFH. Concreate slab would need to be redone. Any suggestions on who to contact or additional considerations? Thank you!

Post: Plumber - Irving Park

I need a good plumber to help me out with a backup problem at my 3-flat in Irving Park. Any good references would be appreciated.

This is what I'm trying to do currently. For the past few years I've been scouring the MLS in all neighborhoods struggling to find any properties that come anywhere near cash flowing (using 1% rule as a gauge).

Any suggestions as far as best practices for finding a Chicago hose hack property? Even if I find the needle in the haystack, the next challenge of beating the competition with a Home Possible loan seems just as daunting.
