Hello all, thanks for the warm welcome. I sincerely appreciate it. This is a bit scary to me overall but it is only a matter of time before that goes away.

From the research I have done, it seems that having the LLC set up prior to purchasing is best for the protection things offer.

I'd love to hear more about this topic.

Thanks all,

Nathan Chronister

Hello everyone,

I am Nathan Chronister. I wanted to jump in and say hi and stop just lurking around the BP website. I hope to make the acquaintance of many of you and look forward to chatting with you all.

I am a 40yr old I.T. guy who decided to go back to school to pursue a degree and certifications that will allow me to move into a Network Engineer role. I've completed 1 semester of that successfully and recently (approx 60 days ago) decided that I have a goal of retiring using real estate and looking at the current education push as a way to fulfill the 7th remedy for a lean purse (Richest man in babylon reference) although I just finished the audiobook a week or so ago.

So, I found myself already on the right path for several of the things and after reading that, Rich Dad Poor Dad and in the process of Think and Grow Rich my mindset has been changed from a poor person who has been struggling in life to a wealthy real estate investor who is just getting started with both of those goals. I am going to have some working capital soon and will be getting with an attorney to setup the LLC. I'll be looking into the BP forms they have for sale and download and the process is underway. I'm mentally burning the ships behind me so there is no turning back on this (Think and grow rich reference). We will see what the next 6 months hold. :)

That's my story. This journey is exciting and a little scary but it's non negotiable that I will make it happen.

Thanks for playing along.
