Ok i will do that too. But I my fear isn't so much starting.  It's starting and doing it wrong and failing because I should have known.  It's always scary not knowing the unknown.  The excitement is jumping in and knowing it's going to be ok.

I started in the guide section reading the ultimate beginner guide, because I really have no clue on where to get started. Since I live in florida, wanted to see if I can try to do something locally. I want to do my first deal right away this month, if possible. 

Thank you everyone.  That gives me a lot more encouragement to ask. Because I do have a lot of questions and not sure if I will feel silly for asking.

Hi, I am new to real estate.  I was born and raised here in Florida. I've read and unfortunately paid for self help books about real estate. ("Set your real estate on auto pilot") When it comes down to the bare facts unless I've done one deal I can't understand heads or tails of what to expect. I really want to learn.  Just don't want to land in prison or debt because I didn't understand the rules.
