@Lloyd Stein I would contact the utility company in the area that your potential rentals are in they would give you the best estimate and they may potentially be able to give you some of the old utility figures other than that it's just kind of a guess

@Eric Thielsen without knowing what skills you bring to the table it's kind of a hard question to answer. However Gary vaynerchuk is absolutely correct when he says find a way to get close to the Sun, what he means by that is find somebody who's doing what you want to do and then find a way that your skillset can bring value to the table and work for them for as cheaply as you can. The knowledge that you're going to gain from that will be invaluable. Good luck on your journey I'm in northwest Ohio, the Lima-Findlay area so it's a slightly different Market but if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to reach out.
