The biggest thing for Yardi, in my case, is that it uses the reports that my boss likes. I really can't say too much more about it, since it's the only property management software I've ever used.

Appfolio is one I have been eyeballing. I'll probably call them today and see what they can offer. What do you think of their reports? Do they do custom reports? My employer really wants to keep his custom reports and he also seems excited about the possibility of cutting our software costs. I'm hoping to find something that can fit both of those needs.

I have also enjoyed Yardi and I wish we could stay with it. One thing that I forgot to mention was that we couldn't stick with it due to the price. I'm supposed to be getting a quote from them soon, but the amounts they've discussed with me have been way out of my budget. I'm not expecting them to come back into my range.

Hey folks,

I have an issue that I'm trying to solve and I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. I work for a property management company and we currently use the older version of Yardi (Enterprise) as our management software. We need to leave this version due to its age and the fact that support will be ending soon.

Does anyone out there have experience in moving from Yardi Enterprise to another software?

Here are a few of the issues that go along with the change:

- We currently have all of our data on an SQL server and will need to get it transferred if we go to a cloud-based solution.

- Many employees at the company have been here 30+ years and are not fond of change or new technology.

- We have many Crystal Reports that we had custom made to the boss's specifications. We need to find a way to use them or at least recreate them in the new software.

Thank you to anyone who can offer some wisdom on handling this change.
