There are a few roads you can take. If the mailing address is different than the address then you can definitely send them mail. I'm assuming the name is included. You can also use landglide, that is great for finding the names of property owners. I'd also try a skip trace like spokeo.com or white pages. They usually have a phone number and/or email address associated with the person. I've found calling to be better than mail in many cases.

I'm not an agent but i am a great test taker lol. I fully agree with Eric, hit those practice tests. Once you get a feel for how things will be worded you'll be able to answer anything they throw at you because they are usually variations of the same situation or problem. If you're really scared, hit google or craigslist for a tutor. But i think you can do it on your own!

Hey Jason, all of that stuff sounds pretty legit. But i'd say you don't have to get mojo dialer and all that stuff up front. Your tax list and a google voice number can work. Just until you get your first deal and start making money. Then you can reinvest and scale up.

Not in Fayettville yet but i plan to start doing business there later on this year. Currently in Rowan and Cabarrus county though. Actually have a deal under contract right now. Should have a few more by Wednesday.

Hey guys, i'm working in Concord, Salisbury, Kannapolis etc. We should definitely stay in contact. Actually have a deal under contract now in Salisbury, looking for a buyer.

You're in the right place to get started! Getting out of the military can be a crazy time, but you've already realized how valuable your knowledge is. Get after it and good luck!

My partner and i are currently looking at Cabarrus and Rowan county. The prices seem attractive with the rent being the same as some of the larger areas and of course it has inventory. Depending on your end goals, i'd definitely look into it. If you're in working with a wholesaler soon, look me up!

I would check out Facebook for some groups and set up alerts here on BP so you can get stuff while it's hot! And if you decide you want to buy in Cabarrus or Rowan county, now you have me :)

Good luck!!

I know i am super late to the party here but someone mentioned the tax assessors website. It works well, for example, you mentioned Cabarrus county which can be found here https://www.cabarruscounty.us/resources/foreclosur...

There is no substitute for going down to the courthouse but you can probably cover more ground on sites like these. Hope this helps!
