Hi, I would appreciate a recommendation for a REI friendly CPA in the Austin, TX area.

Thanks!

Hi Gil, I don’t think you’re rationalizing a bad investment strategy at all. There will obviously be different perspectives on this, but your reasoning and strategy makes sense to me. I also think your projected MTR rent is conservative. I think you could potentially make more with the right connections for leads and maybe if you combine MTRs with STRs to fill in gaps in occupancy. I’m starting to get involved with MTRs, also in Austin. I’m using a little bit of a different strategy to start off due to my specific situation, but definitely in the MTR space.

Does anyone know if there is a way to have more than one address on the Nextdoor app without creating a new account? I just purchased a second property, and will be leaving my previous one as a rental. I need to change my primary residence to the new home but would like to keep seeing posts, news, etc. on the rental property. I’m searching online but I’m consistently finding information saying the only way is to do this is by creating a new account with a different email address, which I do not want to do.

Hi all, I just want to make sure I’m getting my money’s worth with the Pro membership. I just signed up for the membership for the many benefits others seem to be getting out of it and benefits David Green pointed out in a couple of YouTube videos which were clearly pre-recorded and uploaded on YouTube (they show up as recent uploads but it’s clearly not the case). People were complaining about that in the YouTube video comments but I was fine with it because I understand it’s YouTube. Well, as soon as I join I see the opportunity to sign up for this 90 day challenge webinar with three different time options. It sounded like the YouTube video I watched, but I’m thinking “now that I’m a Pro member this must be a special webinar that only pro members have access to”. I planned my day around this webinar to be able to attend only to find out that it is the same exact pre-recorded YouTube video that has been uploaded multiple times.

Please tell me that as a Pro member I do get more benefits and have access to resources I wouldn’t have otherwise. I have huge respect for BiggerPockets and it will be a huge disappointment if I can find anything I’m paying for outside of this platform. I am pretty resourceful and don’t pay unnecessarily for things I can find via google search. I also don’t like to feel scammed, especially by someone/something that has slowly gained my trust over the last couple of months.
