Hi John, thanks for your reply.. If the previous owner redeem prior to expiration of the 3 year Judicial forclosure, is it necessary to  have a Ejection Lawsuit in place prior to redemption? ?

Denise Evans please reply to this thread also...

Thanks

Hi, On a Tax Deed property purchased from State of Alabama, if I  want the previous owner to redeem do I need to file Ejection Lawsuit prior to his redemption? ?

If yes, then within what time frame??

Thanks...

Hi Denise

If this is a Tax Lien Certificate and the previous owner pays his taxes in 9 to 10 months, Question is would it have been worth buying this low cost Certificate, with me having to file for Ejection prior to the months owner eventually paying his back taxes???

Hi Greg, thanks for your reply. Here is the situation: State of Alabama 2017 Tax Certificate cost $432 on vacant unimproved land, Market Value  $38,000

Reading one of Denise Evans previous threads, she said that  I must file Ejection Lawsuit on previous owner, and the cost of approximately  $750, that is why I was asking if it make sense to purchase this Lien Certificate,  please answer.  Thanks

Hi Denise

Just want to make sure you understand this is a Tax Lien Certificate on vacant land with no improvements sold to the State in 2017.

Thanks

I just received my first Tax Lien Certificate from State of Alabama  on vacant land property. What are the next steps that I should take with the property?
