Post: Where to find small home mortgage?

I'm interested in purchasing a small home that is very inexpensive, $51k to be exact. I do not want to pay all cash for the home and as my personal home just burnt to the ground and won't be rebuilt for, at least, a year, an equity line of credit isn't going to happen right now.

Anyone know where to get a small mortgage for $35k?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Post: Home burnt to the ground - Public adjuster?

Our personal home burnt to the ground on Wednesday. I'm wondering if anyone would suggest getting a Public Adjuster to protect our interests as I know that my insurance company adjuster is looking out for my insurance companies interests. I'm most worried about the fact that without proof of some of my antiques and artwork, I won't get anywhere near what my contents are worth. Any experience with that here?

Thanks in advance,

Tom
