I am long distance investor and I do have a single family rental near McKenney. It’s around 2000sft. A part of  the roof got damaged due to some recent winds. Insurance adjuster assessed the damage  around 5K to replace the partial roof that got damaged. Handyman is quoting around 7.5K. Does any one has any recommendations? 

I have a SIngke family rental in Dallas suburban near McKenney. Looking for some recommendations of good property management. Thanks in advance !!

Thanks for the response Pat. This guy is saying he works for Amazon as truck driver through his truck company. How did you get the copy of police report. I have the case number from his background check report. Wondering what options do I have to get more details about the case and the sentence.  

@Frank Procopio thanks for response. They didn’t mention it. When I told them that I would need to do background check, they referred me to their background check and credit history that they have in Zillow with their profile. I found it there. I got really good feedback and points from all of you. I will skip him and wait for a good one.

During the background check I found that the prospective tenant had a first degree narcotics felony on his record 7 years back. But he has a very good credit score. Can some one please help me here. Do you think that is it safe to assume that he had changed as there are no recent felonies or should I skip him. In this crazy market, I am not getting many tenants.
