@Alex Frank thank you for the reply.  I really appreciate it.  I will take some time and review your past post.  You are right, we are looking for a more turnkey property that we can get leased right away.

Greetings from San Diego investors! I hope that all is well. My wife and I are searching for a SFH to purchase and lease in the Charlotte metro area. I have been researching the Indian Trail area to be specific, but am very open to other areas. Cash flow is our immediate goal to get our feet wet in real estate investing. Since we are not local, we are also currently looking for realtors and/ or real estate agents to aid us in our search as well. Can anyone provide feedback on B or C neighborhoods in the area that would be ideal for investing? Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I look forward to reading your feedback.

Hi Joel.  I am active duty Navy and looking at moving in the same direction you are in real estate investing in the Columbia, SC area.  I am currently stationed in San Diego, CA.  It has been difficult for my wife and I to decide where to purchase at.  We have finally settled on buying a multifamily home in my hometown because of the cheap price of real estate.  Turnkey providers or property management companies are pretty much the only option we have.  In your research, have you found out what is a reasonable percentage to pay to these companies?  Good luck!
