Hi there,

Does anyone have a clause they placed into a contract prior to purchasing a house that give the dissolving of a partnership: buy out ect? This would be more for joint tenants vs LLC.

Thanks!

Check and mate Bill. I'm going to speak with some fellow colleagues, especially hire up women, and see what their advice is in addition. I'm highly leaning to the certificate program either in Project Management, Leadership Dev, Real Estate Development, or REIF. Take one step at time, even if it means entering at a firm as an admin.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback.

I have a bachelor's degree BA: urban planning major, and I started a master's degree in facilities management, but it wasn't teaching me anything I didn't know already from my previous position, and was a private institution. Therefore, I stopped 1 year in the financial cost outweighed benefit.

So Bill you suggest doing a CRE or CCIM? I understand the corporate ladder will always have barriers, but that's okay I'll Ieap over them. I just need to ensure the investment is actually there.

Thanks!

Hi There,

I am looking to get my foot in the door at a real estate development firm, reif, ect. I currently am in an admin position at a Hedge Fund, and have worked in Real Estate Commercial Development/Property Management for a few years, but also as a research assistant/ admin asst/ office manager.

How do I leverage my skills to get out of Admin? I'm looking into getting a certification program, but before going down that road and spending money I wanted to get some advice.

Right now I want to learn about real estate investing- using other peoples money at a company. This will allow me to learn so that I can leverage that into personal real estate investments down the road.

Thank you!
