@Todd Baldwin I listened to your podcast, you’re a genius. I’m also planning to take the same path in Seattle area and was wondering if I can connect with you.

Looking to network with investors/property managers who understand/invest in student housing or rent by room. Looking for some advice on lease strategy, pros/cons, maintenance etc.

@Ryan Schickerling that’s really good to hear. Yes, I certainly am looking for househacking options, but Seattle market is very tough right now. How did you go about finding the right deal for househacking? Did you go in with some percent of your mortgage needed to be covered by rent?

Hey folks,

I’m in my late 20s living in Seattle area. I’m starting out in real estate investing and am so excited to join washington community on biggerpockets. I’d like to connect with you all and learn on how to get started on real estate investing. I’ve been self educating on some of the basics and even read couple of books. I’ve been exploring greater seattle market for about a year and haven’t really gotten to work out any deal so far. I’d love to understand what I’m doing wrong and how I can get started. Look forward to network with you all.

Thank you!
