I just received my license in California. Any tips about the do’s and don’ts starting off as an agent? Also, I was thinking about going with a big franchise agency, any thoughts on that?

Hello Everyone! My name is Kevin Taylor and I'm a newcomer to BP from Chicago. I've been interested in real estate for the past 5 years. I recently decided to take my interest a step further and actually get in the business. My main interest is in Flipping houses. Although I do not want to limit myself to only flipping, eventually I want to start a real estate company. The company will allow me to expand to different fields such as wholesaling, tax liens, and other similar fields. Currently I am taking a broker course to obtain my real estate license. I feel that this will help me gain more knowledge about the business. This will also allow me to cut out the middle man when trying to find new property to flip. The previous agent I was using to help me find property wasn't all that great. There were times where I knew more than him so I decided to just get my own license. I'll be done with the course at the end of June. I am looking for a mentor to help guide my career. I am extremely appreciative, ambitious, and ready to learn! Looking to connect and meet other ambitious people. Hope to hear from you all soon....
