@Edward Beck @Charles Lee et all - Do you have an idea of UTEP impact on the rental market? I am specifically curious if university housing is at all an issue. Also, if you specifically have experience/intel on how public transit effects this neighborhood, and if there is any evidence to support NOT looking here?

Guessing you meant Boerne not Bourne. (It's pronounced like the Big Purple Dinosaur.) I have seen some great developments there that are attracting San Antonio commuters in Boerne and higher income earners too. San Antonio is big military presence for jobs, but is rapidly expanding its other sectors.
