Either or. I have made some connections but always looking for more. I just want to improve my knowledge of the terminology and process when it comes to being a broker.

My best advice is to get a double deposit. Section 8 is great because it is guaranteed income. Housing pays for sometimes 100% of the rent. A double deposit for someone on section 8 can be a lot but there are many programs that assist with deposit help. As stated by Victor, maintenance and cleaning when a tenant leaves can be brutal but this can be with any type of tenant. Good luck. :)

Hello everyone,

I am starting with little to no knowledge about being a lender and a broker for private investing.

Does anyone recommend books, courses, or anything to help me learn the general terms and what it takes to become a private lender/broker?

Thank you in advance :)
