Dave Wigfield a 203k loan is an fha loan that allows you to roll your rehab costs into the loan. I think the question was asked because you made it seem like this was what you were doing. Good luck!

I've been listening to a lot of the podcasts and reading in the forums and I have a question about analyzing and budgeting for a new property. The topic of budgeting for property management comes up a lot during the podcast and I was wondering if you're actually supposed to set that money aside every month even when you're not employing a property manager. Or, if you just have it in the budget so when that time comes around you know ahead of time that you won't go into negative cash flow.

Thanks @Brian Dayal, I'll look into it! I'm actually looking to invest in Cohoes when the time comes because I work there.

Hi guys! I am new here to BP and I have been doing a lot of research about buy and hold investments and it's been extremely exciting. My goal is to get a multi family home that I can live in one of the units and rent out the rest. I love the community here and I've been reading a lot, but this is my first post. I'm glad to be a part of BP.
