@Stephen Brown Thank you so much for posting this. Just a couple weeks ago I added Sylvania and Toledo to my keywords and I'm looking to learn about the area. I'll PM if you dont mind. Thank you!

@Garrett Tierney Congrats on persisting and being able to complete the long process of a 203K loan.

So you continued and got the loan done with same lender just different agent? Do you mind if I DM you for some specific questions about it?

Good morning everyone. Has anyone done a 203k loan on a 2-4 unit? Especially in the north east? Suburbs of Philadelphia. Looking for good lenders in the area. I've done a lot of research and feel that this is my best bet to create equity and future a line of credit to start my REI career. So far I only spoke with 1 lender but hes pushing me away from the 203k into conventional. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

@Wesley Owen

Bigger Pockets just published “Bidding to buy, a step by step guide to investing in real estate foreclosures” The authors we’re also on the BP podcast. I’m reading it now, preparing for maybe an increase in foreclosures in the next 12 months. It all comes down to prior due diligence and common sense. Anyways, good luck and let us know if you get a deal.
