Wow, Thank You so much for the prompt replies! For more info, I am graduating college with a degree in Finance and the houses are indeed mine purchased as a result of years of savings. My biggest concern about getting a job is the opportunity cost. To explain, the question I ask myself is will the time allocated toward the job maximize my utility and allow me to reach a level of success that can't be achieved without it. But the pros are the income, learning from other people mistakes and figuring the uncertainty of starting out on your own.

Out of curiosity, is part time investing feasible? can a part time investor compete and achieve the same result as a full time investor?

Hi Everyone,

1st post! I will be graduating in May and I plan on pursuing a career in real estate but not sure which path to take. Im debating between starting my own real estate company and investing on a full time basis or having a real estate related job and investing part time. I do not have any "professional" real estate experience or any licenses but I do manage a couple properties. Would be great if I can receive some advice as to what are the key reasons that should be considered in making my decision, pro/cons and if you recommend a job first then which one. feel free to expand and include personal experiences.

Thank You
