Hi Scarlet - that's great that you found a lender for your investment. Just for future reference, we're starting a lender that focuses 100% on rental property loans. We look at the income generated by the property, not your personal income, so it sounds like the properties you're buying would be perfect. We haven't started lending in NC yet, but it's at the top of our list of states to lend in. Hopefully we can connect with you on a future investment and best of luck with this one.  Check us out at www.mofinloans.com, and if you have any feedback we'd love to hear it.

Hey Michael - banks have definitely gotten tougher and tougher on investment property loans. It's especially difficult to get loans on more than one property because most banks are going to look at your personal income, not the rental property income. There are a few lenders out there that have started underwriting rental property loans based on the property income instead of your personal income.  Our company isn't lending in Indiana yet, but if you want to check us out at www.mofinloans.com, I think we may offer the type of loan product you're looking for. You can sign up on the site and we'll notify you as soon as we start lending in your area.  Let us know what you think, we'd appreciate any feedback!
