Yes I did fill out the application but when he asked for me to send him my banking info and security payment for the loan red flags went up!! Jon what is the proper way that a lender gets funds to you for a deal? I would greatly appreciate the information...

Good evening, I was contacted by a potential lender. Being that i'm new to getting funding for my deal I was told that my loan was approved and all I had to do to get it deposited was pay a fee of $250 for security of the loan.. Is this normal practice or a scam??

What are some red flags you look for to see if a potential lender is trying to scam you for your information?
