Thanks for all the replies. If I didn't have motivation before, I do now. I will post and let you all know what happens. I will try to pursue it.

thanks simpso1j. I hope so. I mean it just felt like one of those movies or stories you hear about when somebody is trying to teach you something they know that pretty big cause the like you and respect you. But yeah I have to show some enthusiasm. He told me about it like 3 months ago, and im just now getting at him to let him know (called today) that I haven't forgotten about him, just want to make sure credit is right.

True Robert. He said that he needed me to do the leg work (im guessing buy the housing) cause I don't think he wants me to do the investing but the running around looking the housing. He said "im getting old man, i need you to run around for me. I want to show you how to make this money if you are instrested, forget about all the where you are working now" He said he would split his next deal with me to show me how it works. He also is starting his own real estate company where he and another partner will be making a housing development of million dollar homes. I just don't want a good thing to slip by, if it's there.

Yes I am posting in regards to a real estate investor that I fix computers for. Well he had asked me questions about my current job and asked me did i want to make money now. I didn't have a response right away but the surroundings (his house , car) now makes me think should I have responded to the question. He told me he would show me the ropes from ground up and it would be more money than what I am making now. He's a doctor and an real estate investor. Not a bad resume. He asked me after asking questions about how far i could go at my current job. When I told the ball park figure of how much I could make at my current job, he asked me "would you like to retire at age 30?" I am 26. I known him for awhile and i know hes not a scam artist or nothing like that, but im just not sure about my credit score. Its not bad, but it could be better. Any ideas on what I can tell him so he knows i am trying to learn what he knows? I just dont want him to say "oh well your too late."

Thanks. any other advice would be great too.
