I thought so as well being that it has been sitting unoccupied. I could be wrong, but I just don't think the PM liked my offer, therefore I don't think they really ever notify the owners of it. Again, I could be wrong, perhaps they don't want go lower than the price posted.

The rent is $950...it was reduced from being priced a little over $1000. It has been on the market over 150 days. 3bdrm 2bth. I asked for $150 off with a signed lease of 2 or more years, to pay 2 months rent in advance and to have rent automatically deducted from my account. Was that unreasonable perhaps?

Thank you Andrea for your quick response.

Is it possible that if the PM don't agree with my offer they wouldn't even consider presenting it to the owners?

I was interested in some advice or suggestions on a property I was interested in. To get to the point, I viewed a home for rent that me and family really liked and I wanted to ask the owners if they would be willing to come down on the price. So I informed the property manager of my offer and they told me they would get back with me. It has been 3 days (maybe that's not long, perhaps I just really want it) and still no contact, I called but they said they haven't been able to get in contact with them.

My question is, if I have the property owners contact information, will it be unwise or unethical for me to contact them myself?
