there is 11 windows. That's what I'm trying to weigh out the long term and short term gains of new windows. What's the bump in appraisal for new windows and risk of leaving in old windows. The Window World said that the windows had lead in the paint so it would be a little extra for removal.

I asked because I'm trying to weigh the benefits of replacing all the windows which would take up almost half of my Reno budget or waiting. There's a couple of windows that need replacement and the others work but are original with the house.

My thoughts are a little more long term than most people because a few people have said it's not needed since I will only be renting it out. They will need to be replaced sooner or later because of the shape they are in.

I am a new investor who just purchased my first property 2 weeks ago and I'm in the process of getting quotes and deciding what needs to make the Reno budget of 8-10,000$. The house is located in Graham NC 3 bed 1 bath 1000 sq built in 1951. My question is are windows a good initial investment or should I wait since they will be 4,000$ from window world. They are the original windows.
