Hello BP!

I was hoping to get your thoughts about a niche I was looking to to pursue with my boyfriend @Carlos Arjona. We want to invest in buy and hold properties, but we feel that pursuing this strategy will better benefit our long-term goal due to the potential cash flow and appreciation of a property (if we buy right). The problem is that we do not have much capital to start with. Also, no conventional lender or HML provides 100% LTV- so some capital is necessary to start with.

I was wondering, if pursuing wholesaling or flipping to start might be a better approach to take right now? Then move into buy and holds after we accumulate enough capital to invest.

Hello Everyone! I am a new investor actively looking at properties with my partner. We have found a couple that the numbers make sense and would like to make our first couple offers! My question is in terms of creating a contract- how does that work, who do we go to, what contract do we use? Thank you in advance!

Hello! Being a new investor I do not have an LLC set-up as of yet, but I am very interested in getting my real estate license soon. With that being said, do I start now and try to write it off once I have an LLC or do I wait till I have it set-up? Thank you in advance for any advice you may have!

Hello my BP team!

As I start my new investment journey, I am also starting to build my team. Thus far, BP has a been a wonderful resource of recommendations for these team players and starting blocks in the process. 

With that said, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good, reliable, investor-friendly CPA in the Orlando, FL area? I am open to any resources you may suggest and connections that can be made!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome and advice to jump start my investor path. There seems to be a supportive community here at BP and will definitely work to get more acquainted with all BP has to offer.

My name is Miranda Jung and I joined BiggerPockets recently as a new investor. I live in Orlando, Florida (Maitland) and looking to invest in the greater Orlando area. I currently work full-time as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, but am working to make real estate investing my next big step. I work alongside my boyfriend and we are primarily focused on buy and holds for multi-family properties (from duplexes to fifteen units). We have been actively educating ourselves by reading, listening to podcasts, analyzing deals, driving for dollars, and building relationships for guidance and future possible partnerships. We also joined our local REIA(CFRI), which has given us the starting foundation and resources to develop our knowledge and investment opportunities.

I look forward to this new adventure and all whom I may meet along the way.
