Hey Mark! Yes we have. We changed the dates to not conflict with a few of the other meetups, but moving forward we'll be meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Details

This month we will be having a reputable wholesaler joining us as a speaker to chat with us about how to find deals in this market, and more importantly, evaluating those deals to see if they make sense. Please invite a friend; we'd love to have 20-30 people at this event!

We also will have a local agent and investor available to discuss their experience.

  • What to bring
  • Nothing is needed but bring a notebook if you want to take notes and money for beer if that's your thing.

  • Important to know
  • Please come to network, and you can share your opportunities, but obnoxious sales and promotion will not be allowed. The room costs money and a $5 donation is requested.

Thanks @John Woodrich! You know, there is actually a place for sale on Park Point, a single family house with a guest house on the property too. Maybe you two should check that out while you're up there!

Hey Jim, if it were me, I'd want to hang onto it. I would network with other investors in your area and find out if any of them utilize property management. I own two places 2.5 hours away from me and I use property managers to manage those. Run the numbers and find out how much you'd be making, including property management fees and that will help you make a more informed decision.

You can definitely do a home equity line of credit or cash-out refinance on that property to fund another deal. Again, you'd have to factor that extra cost of the new mortgage to see what your cashflow would look like if you were to do that. I'm doing a cash-out refinance of my 3-unit property to fund the purchase of another property.

    Best of luck!
