Thanks for the info. I have shopped this quite a bit and Minneapolis seems expensive.

Another question. The building has the old fuses for electrical and it seems like none of the insurance companies want to insure a building with fuses. It is extremely expensive to upgrade because the meters need to be moved outside when the upgrade happens. Does anyone know if its a standard thing these days to have to have upgraded breakers? I don't think the insurance companies would send someone out to check the breakers to see that they were actually upgraded but I wouldn't want to be denied a claim if they found out.

Has anybody used National REI insurance for a multi family property? Looking to insure a fourplex with a purchase price of $325k about 3000 fsf and the quotes are all coming back around $4k/year. REI is about $169/mos.
