Hello,

I'm not having much luck finding a GC that has fixer upper experience in the East Bay, CA. Does anyone have referrals and recommendations?

Hey, Minesh if you are looking for an investor-friendly agent I would recommend Tyler Tapley! He is the man!

I agree with Alex! I’m on the Tyler Tapley Team here in Memphis and we assist many investors from all over the world.

Can you please provide me with his contact info?

Hello,

Anyone that has successfully done out of state fix and flips in Memphis - Do you have a buyer's agent you recommended?

@Minesh Patel I guess the question for you is why do you want a Brokers license so quickly?  Spend 2 years at a brokerage and you should qualify without the extra expense.  Then when you get it what is your goal?

Good Investing...

Thanks for the reply. I guess I thought you needed your license to get hired. Would love to have the opportunity to get experience without one but I've seen, in other industries at least, a chicken and the egg problem.

There is an education option in lieu of the experience to satisfy the broker licencing requirements in California. The requirement states you need a degree from a 4-year university and a minor in real estate. I already have a B.S in Engineering (~10 years ago) from a 4-year university, so I'm thinking to enroll at a local 4 year University that offers a minor program in real estate. Does this satisfy the education requirement or do I have to get the minor and major at the same time from the same university?
