Hi my name is Miles Serman, I live in Delray Beach, Florida and I’m currently trying to find any books and or education on writing ironclad contracts with homebuilders. My goals are to make sure that the contracts that I write out protect me and my investors in all areas and to make sure that the homebuilder and/or contractor does not screw me over in any way shape or form.

Please help if anyone has any suggestions or areas where I can start looking?

Hello everyone,  I have two properties that i am working on in Delray Beach, FL. The first property is my single-family house and another property down the street (that is a double lot). I would like to have a company called Containers In Motion (located in Boca Raton, FL) build a residential storage container in my large backyard (for the single-family home), and would like to separate the double lot into two individual lots to build a residential storage container (one per lot). I'm new to this whole process and am trying to find out all the information I would need before enlisting this company to build the items i need. Does anyone have like a step-by-step guide or process that they can recommend i do or check out to get the project up and running with both the builder and the City of Delray Beach (ex: plans, permits, survey, etc.)? Thank you all
