@Brian Burke How did you get your start out so young? I'm a 16 year old aspiring real estate developer and investor, and I'm really driven to start out as early as possible. More recently I've been looking for kind of a "mentor" to give me some tips and tricks about the world or investing. But back to my question, how did you start out so young? Did you get a loan or maybe a parent to cosign? Was your first investment a success? I'm very curious and interested to know and learn from someone who started out at 19.

Hey Kenny! I'm an aspiring real estate investor & developer as well! I agree with you, I don't like the traditional life path of working 30+ years at a dead end job, growing old, and dying. I want my life to be worth living and choosing a career that I'm greatly interested in. I hope everything works out for you and get the most out of real estate investing!

@Account Closed Row house Showdown comes on the FYI network. It follows 3-4 two person teams each renovating a house in an upcoming neighborhood in Cincinnati, OH (my state!) Each episode, they renovate a new room in the house with a fixed budget.

Flip it to Win it comes on HGTV, but I'm not sure if it was a newer show or a rerun. I've only seen a few episodes but it follows like 5 or 6 two person teams that buy a house at an auction, renovate it, and sell it with crazy profits!! But I read an article before typing this, and it states that the show is completely staged using fake street names, fake auctions, and more. It also explained that only a few of the houses actually make profit and a lot barely break even or lose money when sold.

I've been interested in real estate for a long time, but more recently I've been doing my research and trying to learn as much as I can while I'm young. I've researched different ways to get money to start investing, and I've come across the idea of wholesaling? What exactly is wholesaling? I've looked it up on multiple different websites, but I don't really understand it. And, is wholesaling as hard as some people make it? I've seen very mixed reviews. Some think it's easy, some say otherwise ...

I like million dollar listings, flip or flop, rowhouse showdown, and flip it to win it!
